CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage.

Risk disclosure

Legal

Client terms

These terms govern the trading account you open with Candle Key. They sit alongside the risk disclosure and privacy policy, and they name the entity you contract with.

Last updated 24 October 2026. The version you accept at registration is stored against your profile.

01

The agreement

By registering, you agree to these terms, the risk disclosure, the privacy policy and the trading conditions published on this site. Together they form the client agreement. The entity named in your portal is the counterparty; a group company does not guarantee its obligations.

We may update the documents to reflect legal, regulatory or product changes. Material changes are notified by email or in the portal at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the account after that date is acceptance.

02

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, legally capable of entering a contract, and resident in a jurisdiction where we accept clients. Products are not offered to residents of restricted countries, and we may decline or close an account where local law or sanctions require it.

You confirm that the funds used are your own, are not the proceeds of crime, and are not subject to third-party interests. Accounts are personal; you may not allow anyone else to trade or operate them.

03

Your account

One profile may hold several trading accounts. Each account has its own balance, base currency, leverage and statement. You are responsible for keeping your password, authenticator and recovery codes secure, and for all activity under your credentials.

Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend trading or withdrawals while we investigate, and may require a password reset and fresh verification before restoring access.

04

Verification and AML

We are required to identify clients and understand the source of their funds. You agree to provide accurate identity, address, tax and source-of-funds information, and to refresh it when requested. Withdrawals are unavailable until verification is approved.

We screen against sanctions and politically exposed person lists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis. We may report suspicious activity to the relevant authority without telling you, where the law requires confidentiality.

05

Funding and withdrawals

Deposits must come from an account in your name. Withdrawals are returned to the original payment method up to the amount deposited, and otherwise to an account in your name. We do not accept cash, third-party transfers or payments to personal accounts.

Processing times are estimates, not guarantees, and depend on the provider, banking hours and verification status. We may delay or refuse a withdrawal where we suspect fraud, chargeback risk, money laundering or a breach of these terms, and will explain the reason where legally permitted.

06

Orders and execution

All instruments are contracts for difference. You do not acquire the underlying asset and have no voting, delivery or ownership rights. Orders are executed on a market basis: the price you receive is the next available price, which may differ from the price displayed when you submitted the order.

We may reject, cancel or amend an order where there is an obvious error, a manifest pricing error, insufficient margin, a platform fault, or a breach of the trading conditions. Trades executed on a manifest error may be voided and the account reset to the position before the error.

You are responsible for the orders submitted through your credentials, including those generated by Expert Advisors or any automation you enable.

07

Leverage, margin and stop-out

Leverage is applied according to the tier for your equity, instrument and residency. Margin requirements are shown before you confirm an order. You must maintain sufficient free margin; we are not obliged to notify you before closing positions.

When margin level falls to the stop-out level published on the trading conditions page, we may close positions without further notice. Gaps and slippage can result in the stop-out being executed after the level is breached.

Retail accounts benefit from negative balance protection, which resets a deficit to zero after a gap. Professional accounts do not, and any deficit remains payable.

08

Fees and charges

Our charges are the spread, commission (where applicable) and swap shown in the trading conditions and the terminal. We do not charge deposit, withdrawal, maintenance or inactivity fees. Third-party provider charges are outside our control.

We may change our charges with 14 days' notice, except where a change is required immediately by law or by a liquidity provider. Charges already incurred are not affected.

09

Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • use the platform for money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions evasion;
  • operate multiple accounts to abuse promotions, referrals or partner commission;
  • exploit pricing errors, latency or platform faults for arbitrage;
  • use abusive trading strategies that rely on stale quotes or hedging across accounts;
  • reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the platform or its security;
  • misrepresent Candle Key, its regulation or its products to any third party.

Breach may result in cancelled rewards, closed positions, account suspension and termination, and we may reclaim amounts obtained through the breach.

10

Intellectual property

The platform, brand, content, calculators and software are owned by Candle Key or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable licence to use them for your own trading. You may not copy, resell, sublicense or create derivative works without written permission.

Market data may be provided by third parties and is subject to their terms. You may not redistribute it.

11

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or opportunity, or loss caused by market movement, execution at the next available price, a platform outage outside our reasonable control, or your failure to keep credentials secure.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the account is limited to the amount of your deposits, except where the law provides otherwise.

12

Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time by withdrawing the available balance and writing to support. We may suspend or terminate the agreement immediately where required by law, where verification fails, where we suspect fraud or abuse, or where you breach these terms.

On termination, open positions may be closed at the prevailing market price, charges settled and the remaining balance returned to an account in your name after verification. Records are retained as required by law.

13

Complaints and governing law

Complaints should be sent to [email protected]. We acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 15 business days, and in any event within 8 weeks. The complaints procedure explains escalation.

These terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction of the contracting entity. The courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

This document is one part of the client agreement. It should be read with the terms, risk disclosure and privacy policy. Where documents conflict, the client agreement prevails.
