How the score is calculated

Score = net return ÷ maximum drawdown over the competition window. Minimum 20 closed trades and a 30% drawdown cap. Accounts breaching the cap are removed from the leaderboard but keep their own balance.

Return divided by drawdown, so a reckless month does not win.

How points are earned

1 standard lot on Standard, Micro or KIWAMI = 10 CKP. Zero accounts earn 12 CKP because commission is separated. Fractional lots earn proportionally.

What points are worth

1,000 CKP = $10 cash rebate, credited quarterly to the trading account. Points are not a bonus and carry no volume requirement.

Tier reviews

Tiers are reviewed quarterly on rolling 12-month volume. A quieter quarter does not demote you immediately — there is a one-quarter grace period.

Refer a friend

A referral reward with a real person on the other end.

What counts as a qualified referral

A new client who completes identity verification and deposits at least $250 within 60 days of registering through your link. Self-referrals and duplicate identities do not qualify.

When it is paid

Rewards are credited to the referring account within 5 business days of the referral’s first closed trade, and are withdrawable.

What we will not do.

No deposit lock-in

Competition prizes and referral rewards are cash. You do not have to trade a multiple of the reward to withdraw it.

No fake urgency

Competitions run on a published calendar. We do not send “last chance” messages for programmes that run every month.

No bonus traps

We do not issue credit that disappears if you withdraw your own money. Any credit is marked separately in the account.

No related-party winners

Employees, partners and their immediate families are excluded from prize eligibility.

Abuse is disqualified

Hedged cross-account volume farming, latency arbitrage and duplicate identities void rewards.

Tax is your responsibility

Rewards may be taxable in your jurisdiction. We report where required and do not provide tax advice.

FAQ

Promotion questions.

Can I enter the competition and the loyalty programme at once?

Yes. Competition trades earn CK Points as normal. Prizes are cash and do not affect your points balance.

Do I need a separate account for promotions?

No. Your existing live account is entered automatically once you register for the competition. Loyalty points accrue on all eligible accounts under the same profile.

When are loyalty rebates paid?

Quarterly, within 10 business days of quarter end. 1,000 CKP converts to $10. Points remain visible in the portal throughout the quarter.

Can I refer someone in another country?

Yes, provided Candle Key accepts clients from that jurisdiction and the referral completes verification under the correct entity. Restricted countries are listed in the terms.

What happens if a referral charges back their deposit?

The reward is reversed and any credit used is deducted. Repeated chargebacks remove referral eligibility.

Are these programmes available in India?

The loyalty programme and client referrals are available to Indian residents under the global entity. Competition availability depends on the entity and is shown at registration.
